mbuzz.ro has no accounts, sets no cookies and uses no analytics, ads or tracking pixels.
The server keeps its access logs (IP address, time, page requested, browser) for 14 days, for security, then deletes them.
Stories with a video load the YouTube player from youtube-nocookie.com (YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode): Google receives the IP address when the player loads and applies its own policy. The photos (Wikimedia Commons) are on our server; the Spotify and YouTube links are plain links.
The mbuzz accounts
The stories also go to the Telegram channel t.me/mbuzzro, the Facebook Page facebook.com/mbuzz.ro and Instagram @mbuzz.ro. The mbuzz app publishes them, to these accounts of ours only. The app does not read or keep data about other people: followers, comments or messages. On Telegram, Facebook and Instagram each platform's own policy applies.
Messages sent to info@mbuzz.ro reach the newsroom's mailbox (forwarded by ImprovMX) and stay there as long as we need to answer them.
Data deletion
The mbuzz app keeps no data about you. To find out what we hold about you or to have something deleted (an email you sent us, say), write to info@mbuzz.ro with the subject “data deletion”; we answer within 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, to have it corrected or deleted, and object to its processing (GDPR, art. 15–21). You can complain to Romania's data protection authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro).
