Purple Disco Machine announces fourth album “Cosmotropia” for April 2027

German producer Purple Disco Machine, real name Tino Piontek, has announced his fourth studio album, “Cosmotropia”, due on 30 April 2027 and available to pre-order. The first single is “Test My Luck”, made with British singer MEEK.

According to zene.hu, the record draws on the cosmic disco and space-rock of the 1970s and 80s, with Pink Floyd, Alan Parsons, Jean-Michel Jarre, Vangelis and Kraftwerk named among the influences, alongside French, Italian and German disco.

In autumn 2027 he will head out on a European tour with a band, dancers and vocalists. Only the German dates have been announced so far; general ticket sales start on 7 October, and more European cities are to follow. His earlier albums are “Soulmatic”, “Exotica” and “Paradise”, and he won a Grammy for his remix of Lizzo's “About Damn Time”.
