Yamaha adds the CK76 and OS 2.0 to its CK stage keyboard series
Yamaha announced on 21 October 2026 a new model in its CK stage piano series, the 76-key CK76, together with OS 2.0, an operating system update for the existing units. The CK76 sits between the CK61 and the weighted-key CK88, and carries the same piano, organ and synth sounds as its siblings, along with built-in speakers.
OS 2.0 adds three new electric piano sounds, 74 Rd Studio, 67 Rd Bright/Dark and Wr Wide, plus eight Live Sets designed to showcase the new pianos. It also brings an Advanced Split Mode, which lets players assign a single part to several note ranges. Owners of the CK61 and CK88 can download the update for free from Yamaha's website.
According to Gearnews, the CK76 is listed at Thomann for €1199 and at Sweetwater for $1249.99. At Thomann, the CK61 is listed at €862 and the CK88 at €1,279.
Yamaha introduced the CK series in March 2023, drawing on the organ and synth sounds of its YC stage keyboards and the pianos of the CP series. The instruments offer 363 tones, 128-note polyphony and up to three layered sounds. The front panel has physical organ drawbars, synth filter and envelope controls, two effect engines and overdrive. The keyboards can run on batteries, work as audio and MIDI interfaces for a computer and accept audio over Bluetooth.
