Bruce Springsteen a cântat „Rockin' in the Free World” cu Dave Grohl la Power to the People

Bruce Springsteen a interpretat piesa lui Neil Young „Rockin' in the Free World” alături de Dave Grohl, Dave Matthews și Tom Morello, în cadrul festivalului Power to the People, organizat de Morello, potrivit Rolling Stone.

Setul lui Springsteen a fost format din cântece de protest, singura piesă proprie fiind „Streets of Minneapolis”. Joan Baez a apărut ca invitată în „Chimes of Freedom” a lui Bob Dylan, iar Dave Matthews și Nathaniel Rateliff s-au alăturat pentru „Fortunate Son” de la Creedence Clearwater Revival, pe care Springsteen nu o mai cântase în concert din 2009. Potrivit publicației, „Rockin' in the Free World” a fost cântată de el pentru prima dată din 2004, la un concert Vote for Change din Minnesota.

Festivalul s-a încheiat cu „Power to the People” de John Lennon și cu „This Land Is Your Land” de Woody Guthrie, interpretată de toți artiștii. Au mai urcat pe scenă invitați surpriză: Geezer Butler alături de trupa tribut Black Sabbath a lui Jack Black și Scott Ian de la Anthrax cu Public Enemy.
