Brandon Flowers debuts a new song live and announces another solo album for 2027

Brandon Flowers, frontman of the Killers, played the new song “A Good Man Is Hard To Find” at his Bristol Beacon show in the UK on 17 October, a track from another solo album due in 2027, according to Stereogum.

The song takes its title from Flannery O'Connor's short story, first published in 1953. That puts Flowers alongside other musicians who have written songs inspired by the same story, including Bruce Springsteen and Sufjan Stevens.

Before performing it, Flowers told the audience that the time he spent making his album “Thrasher” in Nashville was a “real fruitful time” for him. He said he wrote and recorded two records during that period, and that the second one will be released sometime in 2027. The Bristol set also included a cover of The Coral's “Dreaming Of You.”

Brandon Flowers is an American indie rock singer, born in 1981 in Henderson. His twangy, country-leaning solo album “Thrasher” came out in August, on 21 August 2026 according to MusicBrainz.
