Kings of Leon build lyrics from NASA imagery in “Cold Blue Dawn” video

Kings of Leon have released a video for “Cold Blue Dawn”, the second single from their upcoming album “O My Beloved”. Made in partnership with The Weather Channel, the clip uses satellite images from NASA's Landsat programme, shaping the song's letters and words out of features of the Earth's surface, according to infomusic.

The song came out on September 30. In September mbuzz reported that the band had announced “O My Beloved”, their 10th studio album, due on November 6 via Love Tap Records, alongside the first single, “My Whole World”. In early October the group also announced a show at The O2 in London on July 2, 2027.

Kings of Leon are an American alternative rock band formed in Nashville in 1999. Their previous studio album, “Can We Please Have Fun”, was released in May 2024.
