Mac Miller estate releases 10th-anniversary edition of “The Divine Feminine”
Mac Miller’s estate has put out the 10th-anniversary edition of “The Divine Feminine” on Friday, Oct. 2, according to Billboard. It adds three previously unreleased songs: “Butterflies,” which came out as a single in September, and “Grand” and “Channel 13,” which reached streaming services on Friday.
The family is also marking the anniversary with “The Divine Feminine Live,” based on the 2016 TV series that was exclusive to DirecTV. It streams on Mac Miller’s YouTube channel from 10 p.m. ET Friday. Sam Balaban produces, directs and edits, with Bart Peters as original live performance director.
The album arrived in September 2016 and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 48,000 equivalent units. Guests include Ariana Grande, Anderson .Paak, Kendrick Lamar, Ty Dolla $ign and CeeLo Green. “Cinderella” resurged this summer through a TikTok trend and peaked at No. 25 on the Hot 100.
