Megan Thee Stallion releases “Tina Tuesday Freestyle,” her first single of 2026

Megan Thee Stallion released “Tina Tuesday Freestyle” on September 29, with a video on her YouTube channel. According to Rolling Stone, it is her first single of the year, unless the FIFA World Cup song “DNA (More Than a Game),” recorded with Andrea Bocelli, is counted.

The title nods to her Tina Snow character, the name of her 2018 EP. Billboard reports that the video shows her in front of a blood-orange sedan with hydraulics, while the lyrics address her split from Klay Thompson. The production mixes piano, strings and thumping drums.

The song leads into the album “Act III,” which has no release date yet. In an interview with Marie Claire, she said she had hoped for a summer release but wanted to take her time writing and recording. She released “Megan” and “Megan: Act II” in 2024.
