Miley returns to the stage with a full set at the Hollywood Bowl

Miley, the American singer formerly billed as Miley Cyrus, played her first full live set in four years at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on 16 October. Hours before the show she wrote on social media that playing the venue had "always been a dream of mine", according to Billboard. The concert was the first of two sold-out nights there, with the second set for 18 October.

Her previous full set was four years earlier, in Mexico, in front of more than 150,000 people; the Bowl holds 17,500. In the years since, she has played only intimate, invite-only sets at Chateau Marmont. Billboard reports that the show included the live debut of songs from “Bass Persuades”, along with crowd sing-alongs on “We Can't Stop”, “Party in the U.S.A.” and “The Climb”.

The return follows a run of milestones. At the 2024 Grammys she won her first two awards, record of the year and best pop solo performance, for the Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 “Flowers”. In 2025 she joined Spotify's Billions Club and marked it with a hits set in Paris that included “Wrecking Ball”. Earlier this year she celebrated the 25th anniversary of “Hannah Montana” with a Disney+ special, and she also dropped Cyrus from her stage name.

Born in 1992 in Franklin, in the United States, Miley is a singer, actress and television personality whose music spans pop, country and pop rock. Her newest studio album, “Bass Persuades”, came out on 18 September 2026, according to MusicBrainz.
