Morcheeba share UNKLE remix of “Peace of Me” from third “Remix The Chaos” volume
Morcheeba have released an UNKLE remix of “Peace of Me”, the first track from the third volume of their “Remix The Chaos” series, according to 909originals. The original song appears on “Escape The Chaos”, the band’s 11th studio album, released in May 2025.
UNKLE, the long-running project of Mo’ Wax founder James Lavelle, rebuilt the track around Skye Edwards’ vocals and Ross Godfrey’s guitar, adding a part from MC Oscar #Worldpeace. The band tied the collaboration to a joint show with UNKLE at Crystal Palace Bowl, followed by a tour of Australia.
The volume holds four tracks, released one at a time: Brazilian producer Gui Boratto remixes “Molten” for 30 October, Californian producer Mophono reworks “Call For Love” for 23 November, and Berlin-based producer Rhyw closes the set with a Swamp Reconstruction of “Far We Come” on 8 January. The same day, all four tracks come out on 12-inch vinyl, with a limited green pressing and white-label copies planned. Morcheeba called the set “an eclectic mix of styles”.
The first two volumes of the series featured reworks by Paula Tape, Trance Wax, Frazer Ray, Brothers Counsell, Rex The Dog, Django Django, Daedelus and Merther Hum.
Morcheeba are a trip hop and electronic band formed in London in 1995.
