Olivia Rodrigo and Chappell Roan have released “expectations”, their first song together, accompanied by a video featuring David Byrne, the singer and guitarist of Talking Heads.
According to infomusic, the song deals with the standards people set in love and with the red-flag moments that change how a relationship looks and make one more careful when choosing a partner.
Olivia Rodrigo is an American singer-songwriter and actress, born in 2003 in Murrieta, whose music moves between pop, indie pop and rock. Her newest studio album, according to MusicBrainz, is “you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love”, released on 12 June 2026. In October mbuzz reported that the joint version of the song came out on 15 October.
