Rauw Alejandro and Camilo’s “Tattoo (Remix)” passes one billion YouTube views
The video for “Tattoo (Remix),” Rauw Alejandro’s collaboration with Camilo, has passed one billion views on YouTube six years after its release, according to Billboard. It is the third video for each of the two to reach that mark as lead, featured artist or collaborator.
The original “Tattoo” came out in February 2020, produced by Los Honeyboos (Rafa Rodríguez and Daniel Rondon) and Mr. Nais Gai. The remix followed in July that year, with a more pop-leaning sound and the Colombian singer-songwriter Camilo on board. It was the pair’s first collaboration. The video, directed by Gustavo Camacho, shows them spending a day out with friends on Miami Beach. The songwriters include the two artists alongside Elena Rose and Evaluna Montaner.
The song found a second life on TikTok through the #TattooChallenge and reached No. 1 on both the Latin Airplay and Latin Rhythm Airplay charts. On Hot Latin Songs, “Tattoo” peaked at No. 7.
Billboard notes that Alejandro has 13 Billboard Hot 100 entries and 88 on Hot Latin Songs, 17 of them in the top 10. Camilo has 21 Hot Latin Songs appearances, including two top 10s. In September, Alejandro played several dates at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens for Red Bull Chapters, a three-act show tracing his roots and musical influences.
Rauw Alejandro, born in 1993 in San Juan, is a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter working in reggaeton and Latin R&B. His newest studio album is “Cosa nuestra: Capítulo 0,” released on 26 September 2025, according to MusicBrainz.
