Richie Hawtin leaves WME after 15 years to join Dixon and Âme's TS Agency

Richie Hawtin has announced on Instagram that he is leaving WME, the agency that handled his bookings for more than 15 years, to join TS Agency, an independent booking company founded by artists Dixon and Âme, according to We Rave You.

In his statement, Hawtin said a three-decade career means constant adjustment and that it felt like the moment to change a "key pillar" of his day-to-day life: the planning and scheduling of creative ideas and opportunities, and who supports that. He thanked the WME team and called the next chapter an exciting one.

We Rave You notes that the move takes one of electronic music's most influential figures from one of the world's biggest talent agencies to an independent, artist-founded company. It also strengthens his link with Dixon, who will join Hawtin and Four Tet for an eight-hour Primavera Bits closing party at Primavera Sound 2027 on 6 June.

This summer, Hawtin was billed with his DEX EFX X0X show at Kappa FuturFestival, and he is among the contributors to Jean-Michel Jarre's new book, "Machines: A History of Electronic Music".

Richie Hawtin is an English-Canadian electronic musician and producer, born in 1970 in Banbury and associated with techno and minimal techno. His newest studio album is "Consumed in Key", released in April 2022, according to MusicBrainz.
