Robyn is the first name announced for Way Out West 2027 in Gothenburg

Robyn is the first act confirmed for the 2027 edition of Way Out West, according to Festileaks. The Swedish singer will close the programme on Thursday, 12 August 2027, in Slottsskogen park in Gothenburg. She had already been billed as a headliner in 2022 but cancelled that appearance.

Tickets for the Swedish festival go on sale on 23 October at 09:00 via Ticketmaster. The remaining three-day passes and two-day passes in all categories are being released, with day tickets to follow later. Most of the three-day passes were already sold earlier this autumn. Festileaks also reports that Robyn is booked for Primavera Sound 2027 at the start of the summer.

It has been a busy year for her: in March she released “Sexistential”, her first album since “Honey” in 2018, following a comeback that began in late 2025 with the single “Dopamine”. In May she opened for Harry Styles at the Johan Cruijff ArenA, then set out on her own tour of concert halls, including a show in Brussels. On 17 October she played her biggest solo concert to date in Stockholm.

Robyn, born in Sweden in 1979, works across pop, electropop and R&B. In October mbuzz reported that she and German DJ Mechatok had remixed each other's tracks, and, earlier that month, that she will host one of the in-game radio stations in Grand Theft Auto VI.
