The Dead Daisies add ex-Foreigner singer Kelly Hansen and release “Lift Me Up”

Hard rock band The Dead Daisies have named former Foreigner frontman Kelly Hansen as their lead vocalist, according to Z-Rock. The band has also released the single “Lift Me Up” and confirmed 12 European dates between 4 and 21 March 2027.

The lineup also includes guitarists Doug Aldrich and David Lowy, drummer Tommy Clufetos and bassist Jimmy Kroutchley. Hansen said he left Foreigner after 20 years to move on to new projects. Aldrich said the song grew out of a simple guitar riff and a heavy groove. The band is working on a new album and has also planned US shows.

The European run starts in Bochum and includes London, Paris, Milan, Prague and Berlin, with The Quireboys and The Gems as special guests. The Dead Daisies are an Australian hard rock band whose latest album is “Lookin' for Trouble” (2025).
