Backstreet Boys wrap up ten-show Düsseldorf run

Backstreet Boys closed their ten-concert series “Into the Millennium – Homecoming: Live in Germany” on 7 October 2026 at Merkur Spiel-Arena in Düsseldorf. According to organiser figures cited by Pollstar, the ten sold-out shows drew about 470,000 people in total, roughly 47,000 per night.

According to B92, Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson entered by descending from the arena roof on surfboards, a nod to their 1999 world tour. A 32-metre stage, pyrotechnics and lasers backed a set built around the album “Millennium”, including “I Want It That Way” and “Larger Than Life”. Düsseldorf was the group's only European stop in 2026.

Backstreet Boys are an American pop group formed in Orlando in 1993. Their newest studio album is “A Very Backstreet Christmas” (2022).
