Zach Bryan announces “Young Manhood & Other Donatable Organs” for Oct. 16, with a Lana Del Rey song
Zach Bryan announced on October 12 that he will release an eight-track project, “Young Manhood & Other Donatable Organs”, on October 16, according to Billboard. He also shared the cover art, a photo of himself standing in an open field and smiling while a lookalike points a rifle at him, along with the tracklist.
The collaboration with Lana Del Rey is called “Lies”. The other tracks are “Lodi When”, “Robot Killed the Working Man”, “Dog Days”, “Backwards”, “Plainsman” featuring Turnpike Troubadours, “Is the Blue Tangled in You?” and “You’ll Get By”. Bryan wrote that he hopes people enjoy it and thanked them for “a great year on the road”.
In September, Del Rey hinted on Instagram that the shared song was finished, with a message that played on the word “Lie”, Billboard notes.
The project arrives ten months after “With Heaven on Top”, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. His With Heaven on Tour began in March, playing stadiums and arenas across Europe and North America, and ended on October 10 in Auburn, Alabama.
Bryan is an American country singer-songwriter born in 1996 in Okinawa Prefecture, whose work draws on alternative country and red dirt. On October 3, mbuzz reported that he wore a “Free Palestine” shirt onstage at Gillette Stadium.
