AC/DC brought Dave Grohl on stage for “Highway to Hell” at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Friday, the final show of the Power Up Tour, according to Rolling Stone. The concert was originally set for September 25 but was moved after a nor’easter hit the East Coast. Foo Fighters opened the night.

Brian Johnson introduced Grohl to the crowd as a “very good friend” who had asked to join in. Earlier, during the Foo Fighters set, Grohl recalled seeing the film “Let There Be Rock” at 11 and deciding he wanted to play music for life. Foo Fighters had also opened for AC/DC in St. Louis on September 8, filling in for The Pretty Reckless.

The tour began in May 2024 and supported the 2020 album “Power Up”. The band has not revealed future plans, and Johnson has suggested this could be the last run. AC/DC formed in Sydney in 1973; their last concert in Romania, per setlist.fm, was on May 16, 2010, in Piața Constituției, Bucharest.
