Foo Fighters to reveal new “Take Cover World Tour” dates on 16 November

Foo Fighters will add new dates to their “Take Cover World Tour” on 16 November, according to Dutch outlet Festileaks. The hint comes from the band’s newsletter, where the line “Want more??? Tune in 16 november” sits between the last show currently scheduled, in Peru, and the link to the full list of shows.

The teaser follows recent rumours of a stadium tour in 2027. Festileaks suggests that in the Netherlands such a run would likely stop at the Johan Cruijff ArenA, but sees little room for festival slots, not least because the band closed Pinkpop 2026 and their fee would strain most festival budgets.

Frontman Dave Grohl has left one door open: asked whether the band would finally play Download 2027, he replied “Maybe it’s time”. Festileaks notes that Rock Werchter 2027 has already locked in its four headliners, but the Werchter site also hosts one-day events such as Werchter Boutique 2027, headlined by RAYE, TW Classic and Werchter Parklife, introduced last year. Should Parklife return in 2027, the outlet sees Foo Fighters as a possible name.

Foo Fighters are an American rock band formed in Seattle in 1995, rooted in alternative rock, post-grunge and hard rock. Their newest studio album, according to MusicBrainz, is “Your Favorite Toy”, released on 24 April 2026. In late October mbuzz reported, also citing Festileaks, that the band may be planning a stadium tour in 2027.
