Aerosmith tease comeback show at the Hollywood Bowl

Aerosmith have posted a short video hinting at a comeback concert at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, according to Loudwire. In the clip, Steven Tyler and the band's photographer Ross Halfin put up letters on the venue's marquee reading “Aerosmith & Friends,” along with two dates: Oct. 29 and Nov. 1. The video says everything will be revealed on Tuesday at 10AM ET.

The band's last concert was on Sept. 9, 2023, at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. Their “Peace Out” farewell tour was cut short after three shows because of vocal cord damage suffered by Tyler, and in August 2024 the group announced it was retiring from touring. Tyler has made a few live appearances since, and last June guitarist Joe Perry said the band was talking about getting together again.

Aerosmith formed in Boston in 1969. Their latest studio album is “Music From Another Dimension!” from 2012.
