Angèle releases new album “Instinct” with Justice, Soulwax and Caroline Polachek
Belgian singer Angèle has released her new album “Instinct” in full. According to Clash, it is the third album by the singer, songwriter and producer, and the outlet calls it arguably her most assured and potent record yet.
Angèle worked with close collaborator Tristan Salvati, joined by a list of well-known producers. French duo Justice feature on “What You Want”, while Belgian production team Soulwax helped shape the club track “Trop”. Caroline Polachek sings on “Love Triangle”, in what Clash describes as Brussels-shaped French, a song that also carries production from French touch pioneer SebastiAn.
British producer Oscar Scheller co-wrote “f4ck 4ever”, a song completed in just two hours in a Greenpoint studio. Clash notes that where Angèle dealt with feeling alone on her debut and built on that on her second album, “Instinct” stands out for the confidence with which she brings her vision to life.
Angèle was born in 1995 in Uccle, Belgium. She is a singer-songwriter and actress whose music moves between pop and chanson.
