Armand Popa and Francis On My Mind join the BuSH 2026 lineup in Budapest

Budapest Showcase Hub (BuSH) has announced the full programme of its 11th edition, running from 28 to 30 October 2026 at Akvárium Klub in Budapest, in the KisHall and Lokál rooms. According to zene.hu, all concerts are free, with more than 20 emerging acts from 10 countries performing over three days.

Romania is represented by Armand Popa, whom the Hungarian outlet calls a young hope of psychedelia and shoegaze and recommends to King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard fans, and by Francis On My Mind, described as a new name in Romanian pop. Poland sends the dark, electronic jazz of ŃOKO, saxophonist CHĘCKI, Warsaw hyperpop duo vgtbl.pl and soul act Cinnamon Gum. Also on the bill are NANANA and Fictional Heat from Hungary, Croatia's Luzeri and M.Rider, who has worked with musicians from Air and The Cure, Slovenia's Nejc Pipp, iamyank, Ventolin from Prague, Punktó from Vilnius and Estonian house act Boipepperoni. Jazz singer and pianist Orbay Lilla presents a new album.

Past editions featured Carson Coma, Co Lee, Blahalouisiana and Jazzbois early in their careers, as well as Romania's Golan, whom zene.hu calls a pioneer of Romanian minimal and house.

The festival also runs a conference programme: at a panel hosted by The Orchard, Korda György and Balázs Klári share stories from the Hungaroton label's heyday, while industry professionals can meet label heads, bookers and agents. Together with Ceemposium, BuSH holds free sessions on 28 and 29 October for early-career professionals and for high school and university students. The professional pass includes a boat trip with live music and an exclusive vinyl compilation.
