Boys Noize teams up with Brutalismus 3000 on new single “Nächstenliebe”
Boys Noize has released “Nächstenliebe”, a collaboration with Berlin duo Brutalismus 3000 that previews his album “7LLVSION”, due on 6 November via ONES and ZEROS. According to Electronic Groove, it is his first solo album in five years.
The track blends electronic body music, industrial techno and punk, with a nod to German electronic pioneers DAF. Brutalismus 3000’s Victoria Vassiliki Daldas sings in German over sequenced basslines, distorted synthesizers and shifting rhythms. It opens sparse and half-time before moving into heavier four-on-the-floor percussion with breakdowns and layered oscillators, closing on dembow-inspired drums.
“Nächstenliebe” follows “1+1+1” featuring ZEP, the first single from “7LLVSION”. The album also features Taichu, Mayah Alkhateri, ABRA and Safety Trance, among others.
The record comes after a stretch of collaborative work for Boys Noize, including a tour with Nine Inch Nails, co-production on the “TRON: Ares” soundtrack and the Coachella debut of their joint project, Nine Inch Noize.
Boys Noize is a German DJ and record producer, born in Hamburg in 1982, whose work spans electro house, acid house and techno. His most recent studio album, according to MusicBrainz, is “+∕−”, released in September 2021.
