Brutal Assault 2027 adds Heaven Shall Burn, Knocked Loose and Agnostic Front

The Czech metal and hardcore festival Brutal Assault will take place from 4 to 7 August 2027, marking its 30th edition. Organisers have announced 26 new bands, and according to Visions about half of the line-up is now confirmed.

The headliners are the previously confirmed Children of Bodom, Mercyful Fate and The Sisters of Mercy. Among the new names, Visions lists Heaven Shall Burn, Knocked Loose and Agnostic Front, along with video game composer Mick Gordon (DOOM, Wolfenstein) and John Garcia. The confirmed list also includes Carcass, Emperor, Hypocrisy, Kanonenfieber, Igorrr, Six Feet Under, Russian Circles, Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats and Yob.

The festival is held in the 18th-century Josefov fortress in Jaroměř. According to Visions, it has drawn more than 15,000 people a year recently and is among the largest extreme metal festivals in the Czech Republic.

Tickets are on sale, with a regular ticket priced at 229.90 euros, per Visions. Accommodation, parking tickets and camping upgrades are also available on the festival's website.
