Erykah Badu's Sofia concert on 23 October postponed, new date awaited

Erykah Badu's concert in Sofia, scheduled for 23 October 2026 at Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture (NDK), has been postponed, according to Actualno. The singer announced changes to her European tour schedule and, citing unforeseen circumstances, cannot play some of the dates announced earlier. A new Sofia date is being agreed with her team and will be published as soon as possible.

Besides Sofia, the shows in Paris (18 October), Milan (19 and 20 October) and Katowice (25 October) will not go ahead as originally planned. The dates in Amsterdam (13 October), Brussels (14 October) and Basel (15 October) remain unchanged. Badu apologised to affected fans and acknowledged the time, effort and travel many had planned.

Tickets bought for Sofia will be valid for the new date without revalidation. Holders who cannot make the new date can get a refund at the Eventim outlet where they bought the ticket, no later than one month after the new date is announced. No refunds will be made before then. Eventim can be reached at info@eventim.bg, the organisers said.

Badu is an American singer-songwriter born in 1971 in Dallas, known for soul and neo soul. Her newest studio album on MusicBrainz is “Before the World Blows”, released on 28 August 2026.
