Charlotte de Witte closes the first Starlight Festival at the Great Pyramid of Giza

Charlotte de Witte headlined the first edition of Starlight Festival, playing a set in front of the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt on Saturday, 10 October 2026. According to We Rave You, the Belgian techno DJ closed out the new event.

The weekender was co-founded by the team behind Serbia's EXIT Festival. Alongside de Witte, the lineup featured Indira Paganotto, Michael Bibi, Cloonee, Vintage Culture and Adriatique. We Rave You reports it was the first time a multi-day dance music event had been staged at the site.

The Great Pyramid is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the only one still largely standing. Completed around 2600 BC, it was the tallest structure on Earth for almost four thousand years and remains Egypt's best-known landmark.

Charlotte de Witte is a DJ and techno producer born in Ghent, Belgium, in 1992. Her newest studio album, the self-titled “Charlotte de Witte”, came out on 7 November 2025, according to MusicBrainz.
