LISA releases her first solo EP “Press Play” and the “Tarantino” video

LISA released “Press Play,” her first solo EP, on 23 October 2026: a six-track set that arrived together with the music video for its focus track, “Tarantino.” The EP was preceded by the pop-rap single “SaWaDiKa,” released in September.

According to Billboard, “Tarantino” hits as hard as the lead single, “Cobra” is an attitude-filled dance-pop track and closer “Sweat” is a sultry song. “Press Play” follows “Alter Ego,” LISA’s 2025 debut solo album, and lands ahead of her Las Vegas residency, which starts in November.

The video, directed by Grammy-winning filmmaker James Mackel, runs three and a half minutes and plays like a spy movie: LISA takes on villains in a hotel, leads a choreographed routine with chambermaids and bellboys and fights her way through the kitchen staff. In the end she slips a red letter under the door of her “favorite director,” who is staying in the same building.

LISA teased the song on social media and through a promo for PlayStation’s limited-edition “LISA” DualSense wireless controller, which she helped design. The controller briefly appears in the clip when she signs one for a fan.

LISA is a Thai singer, rapper, dancer and actress, born in 1997 in Buriram and known as a member of BLACKPINK. Her music spans K-pop, hip-hop and dance-pop.
