Madonna's Evita soundtrack gets its first-ever vinyl release

The soundtrack to “Evita”, the film in which Madonna plays Eva Perón, will be released on vinyl for the first time on 13 November, marking the film's 30th anniversary, according to Consequence.

The 1996 film adapts Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's 1978 musical and co-stars Antonio Banderas and Jonathan Pryce. Besides Madonna, the soundtrack features Banderas, Pryce, Jimmy Nail and others, with tracks including “Don't Cry for Me Argentina”, “You Must Love Me”, “Another Suitcase in Another Hall” and “Oh What a Circus”.

The release comes as a 3LP set pressed on translucent red vinyl, in a trifold jacket with a 20-page, 11-by-11-inch booklet of film stills. A limited Gold Nugget vinyl edition is sold exclusively through Madonna's and Rhino's websites, and a new 2xCD deluxe softpak edition will include a 24-page booklet with stills from the film.
