Michael Kiwanuka releases new album “FUDGE”, reviewed by Clash

Michael Kiwanuka has released his album “FUDGE”, out on 23 October 2026, and British magazine Clash reviewed it the same day. According to Clash, the record was largely finished before the singer's recent health problems.

The magazine stresses that the songs speak of Kiwanuka's life before those events and argues that the album should be heard on its own terms.

Michael Kiwanuka is an English singer-songwriter born in 1988 in Muswell Hill, whose music draws on soul, rhythm and blues and pop rock. His previous album, “Small Changes”, came out in November 2024. In early October, mbuzz reported that he had shared “SUMMER CLOTHES”, the first song from the new album.
