Moog Messenger, SSL interfaces and Roland FP-40 piano get price cuts

The Moog Messenger synthesizer is 10% off at Thomann, according to a deals roundup Gearnews published on 17 October 2026, which also lists the SSL 1 and SSL 2+ MKII audio interfaces and the Roland FP-40 digital piano.

The Messenger is a compact analog monosynth with two analog VCOs offering continuously variable waveshapes and Moog's classic ladder filter, plus hybrid wavefolders, extra filter modes, resonance bass compensation and loopable envelopes. It has a 64-step sequencer and arpeggiator, and CV/gate and clock inputs and outputs for use with modular systems. The listed price is $522, £479 or €557.

At Sweetwater, the SSL 1, with one microphone input and one for guitar or line-level sources, is $129.99. The SSL 2+ MKII has two channels with mic preamps featuring the SSL 4K emulation, a second pair of line outputs and a second headphone output; it is $50 off until the end of the year, at $229.99.

The new Roland FP-40 uses the Piano Reality engine, which combines samples with physical modeling, and a PHA-4 Standard keybed with three sensors per key. Thomann has it at an 11% discount: $715, £649 or €759.
