Shakira's Madrid concert sets Amazon Music livestream record

Shakira's concert in Madrid on 3 October is now the most-viewed livestreamed performance by a female artist on Amazon Music, according to Billboard. The platform announced the record in a press release on 4 October.

The show was part of the Colombian star's 12-date residency at Shakira Stadium, a temporary venue built within Madrid's Iberdrola Music complex for her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour. The residency opened on 18 September and ends on 11 October. The stream was available on Amazon Music, Prime Video and Twitch.

Dua Lipa joined Shakira onstage for an acoustic version of “Antología,” from the 1997 album “Pies Descalzos,” in front of more than 50,000 people. Dua Lipa wrote on Instagram, in Spanish, that she felt she, Shakira and the audience were one. The broadcast led Amazon Music's 2026 Women Shaping Latin Music campaign.
