Shakira closed her Madrid residency on 12 October with a 13th show billed as “The Last Dance,” joined by Maluma, Laura Pausini, Beéle, Dani Martín and Bizarrap, according to Billboard. The night fell on Spain's National Day and featured dancers from the Carnival of Barranquilla, a drone display and a visibly emotional Shakira.

Maluma, back for a second night running, performed “Chantaje” and “Agua” with her. Pausini returned for a duet of “Antología,” Martín sang “Te Dejo Madrid” and Beéle joined for “Algo Tú.” The Ghetto Kids appeared for “Dai Dai.” Bizarrap ended the show with “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53.” Drones formed a she-wolf and then a giant “12+1.”

Shakira said around 700,000 people attended the shows at the stadium and that more than 10,000 people worked on the production and the themed city built around it. She thanked her team, musicians, dancers, Sony Music and Live Nation, and her ex Antonio de la Rúa, whom she called “a great friend.” She also said the weeks had brought difficult moments, including her father's health issues.

Shakira is a Colombian singer-songwriter born in Barranquilla in 1977. Her newest studio album, according to MusicBrainz, is “Las mujeres ya no lloran” (22 March 2024). In September mbuzz reported that she and Maluma released the merengue single “AGUA,” their first collaboration in eight years, and in October that her 3 October Madrid show set an Amazon Music livestream record.
