The Killers announce Sam’s Town 20th anniversary vinyl reissues and box set

The Killers are marking 20 years of their second album, “Sam’s Town,” with two vinyl remasters and a 7-inch box set, according to Consequence. Pre-orders are open.

The 2xLP 45-rpm Audiophile Edition and the 33-rpm Red Smoke Vinyl were both cut from the analog masters by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound. The Audiophile Edition is limited to 4,000 copies, adds the bonus track “Peace of Mind” and comes in a gatefold jacket with a 12-page booklet.

The box set, limited to 2,000 copies, collects the four 7-inch singles from the era, “When You Were Young,” “Bones,” “Read My Mind” and “For Reasons Unknown,” with their original B-sides. A bonus 7-inch pairs “Peace of Mind” with “Read My Mind (Like Rebel Diamonds Mix),” which makes its vinyl debut.

The remasters ship on November 27, and the box set follows on January 29, 2027.
