Zach Bryan wears “Free Palestine” shirt at Robert Kraft’s Gillette Stadium

Zach Bryan wore a black “Free Palestine” T-shirt onstage on Friday, Oct. 2, during the first of two nights of his With Heaven On Tour at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. According to TMZ, cited by Billboard, members of his band wore matching shirts. Bryan did not appear to address the shirt from the stage.

The venue is owned by the Kraft Group, led by New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft. Billboard reports that Kraft played a central role in removing Macklemore from the remaining U.S. dates of Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour after the rapper’s pro-Palestinian remarks at MetLife Stadium. Kraft confirmed his involvement in a statement, saying he felt a responsibility to speak up over antisemitism, while acknowledging that Palestinian suffering is real.

Bryan returns to Gillette Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 3. Representatives for Kraft did not immediately respond to requests for comment, according to Billboard.
