The Mars Volta share “Voice in My Knives / Poseedora De Mi Sombra” ahead of 20 November album

The Mars Volta have released a new track, “Voice in My Knives / Poseedora De Mi Sombra”, taken from their upcoming album “Lucro Sucio; Unfinished Business”, due on 20 November 2026, according to metal.de.

The German outlet notes that last year the band surprised audiences by playing only experimental, improvised material instead of hits, leaving many in the crowd confused. The reason is now clearer: those live experiments were preparation for the new record.

Fans were able to vote through an online portal for their favourite elements of the individual shows. The excerpts that received the most votes make up the new songs on “Lucro Sucio; Unfinished Business”, including the track now presented.

The Mars Volta are an American progressive rock band formed in El Paso in 2001.
