Adéla makes Fallon debut as “Nicole Kidman” climbs to No. 6 on the Hot 100

Slovak pop artist Adéla made her late-night TV debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, 22 October. Her song “Nicole Kidman” rose from No. 9 to No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100, a new peak, according to Billboard. She currently has two songs on the chart.
On stage, Adéla performed a medley of “Nicole Kidman” and the chorus of “Ain't In LA”, both from the album “Prima”. According to Consequence, the choreography mixed ballet moves, a nod to the album's title, with cabaret-style staging and references to “Moulin Rouge!”, the film starring Nicole Kidman. Several dancers joined her.
In her interview with Fallon, Adéla said she had always wanted to be famous and that she learned English from “Hannah Montana” and The Tonight Show. She called Kidman her muse. The actress had discussed the song a month earlier on the same show. Adéla also said Kidman, Dua Lipa and Pedro Pascal made TikToks to her music, and she ended the segment by teaching Fallon her signature dance, the “Swaggerina”.
Adéla was born in 2003 in Bratislava and is a singer, songwriter and dancer. “Prima” came out on 4 September.
