Jennifer Lopez brings “LOVE?” to vinyl with new track “Proof of Love”

Jennifer Lopez's 2011 album “LOVE?” is getting its first vinyl release, and the new editions include a previously unreleased dance track, “Proof of Love,” according to uDiscover Music. The expanded edition is a two-LP set pressed on translucent royal-blue vinyl, while a second edition carries the 12-track version.

“LOVE?” was Lopez's seventh studio album and her first for Island Records. It opened with “On the Floor,” her collaboration with Pitbull and the record's lead single, and also produced the hits “I'm Into You,” featuring Lil Wayne, and “Papi,” alongside songs such as “Good Hit,” “Invading My Mind,” “Run the World,” “One Love” and “Starting Over.” The 17-track deluxe set adds “Hypnotico,” “Everybody's Girl,” “Charge Me Up,” “Take Care” and “On The Floor (Ven a Bailar),” again with Pitbull.

One of the biggest-selling singles worldwide in 2011, “On the Floor” found a new audience after it soundtracked a dance scene in the Amazon Prime series Off Campus. Lopez recreated the scene for a TikTok video with the show's star, Mika Abdalla. Speaking to MTV in 2011, she recalled that when producer RedOne first played her the song, she had him “play it 20 times in a row,” drawn to it emotionally and by her love of dance.

Jennifer Lopez is an American singer and actress, born in 1969 in the Bronx. Her most recent studio album is “This Is Me…Now,” released on 16 February 2024, according to MusicBrainz.
