Queens of the Stone Age confirmed for Sweden Rock Festival 2027

Queens of the Stone Age have been added to the Sweden Rock Festival 2027 bill, the American band's first confirmed European festival show of 2027, according to Festileaks. The Swedish date comes one week before Pinkpop 2027.

The same announcement also named Mötley Crüe, Alice Cooper, Parkway Drive, Europe, Amon Amarth and Bad Religion, with the full list revealed in a video posted by the festival.

Until now it was unclear whether Josh Homme's band would come to Europe during the 2027 festival season. It was already known that the group will present its ninth album, “Perfecth”, at South American festivals early next year. Festileaks sees Pinkpop 2027 as the obvious Dutch stop given the band's history with the festival, while Rock Werchter 2027 and Graspop 2027 are also in the running.

Queens of the Stone Age formed in Seattle in 1996 and play alternative rock, hard rock and stoner rock. “Perfecth” is due on 30 October 2026, according to MusicBrainz, following “In Times New Roman…”, released in June 2023. The band last played Romania on 18 July 2025, at Bánffy Castle in Bonțida.
