Rock am Ring and Rock im Park 2027 add Killswitch Engage, Pendulum and Jinjer

Germany's twin festivals Rock am Ring and Rock im Park have announced 24 more acts for their 2027 edition, according to Visions. Leading the new wave are metalcore pioneers Killswitch Engage and Pendulum, whose “Inertia” was their first album in 15 years.

Also confirmed are Ukrainian metal band Jinjer, Sleeping With Sirens, Silverstein, The Devil Wears Prada, The Amity Affliction, Clutch and Highly Suspect. Hardcore is represented by Guilt Trip, Haywire and Speed, Alexander Marcus takes the festival's traditional comedy slot, and The Butcher Sisters return. The additions join the headliners announced a month earlier: Billy Talent, Turnstile, Die Toten Hosen, Faith No More, Parkway Drive, Bring Me The Horizon and Evanescence, along with Beartooth, Donots, Bad Religion and Nothing But Thieves.

Both festivals run from 4 to 6 June 2027, Rock am Ring at the Nürburgring in the Eifel region and Rock im Park on the Zeppelinfeld in Nuremberg. Visions reports that Rock am Ring has sold more than 70,000 tickets and Rock im Park more than 60,000, with its day tickets already gone. A Rock am Ring festival ticket costs 269 euros at the current price tier, with camping and parking sold separately, while Rock im Park's ticket, camping included, costs 358 euros.

At Rock am Ring, the organisers are moving the Orbit Stage to a new spot to ease the flow between stages, and adding 25 percent more toilets in the infield and 15 percent more in the outfield. City shuttles from Cologne and Frankfurt can be booked through the festival shop.
