Taylor Swift announces “The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore” with four new songs

Taylor Swift has announced “The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore,” an extended edition of her album “The Life of a Showgirl,” due on September 25. According to Consequence, it adds four new tracks: “Patient Zero,” previously announced as her next single, plus “Cleveland!,” “Pink Clouding” and “Babylon.”

In a social media post, Swift said she traveled to Sweden to celebrate the album’s record first week with producers Max Martin and Shellback. There, she wrote, they ended up writing more songs out of gratitude to listeners. Pre-orders for the digital version are open on her website.

The album came out on October 3, 2025. Rolling Stone notes that at the time Swift said no other tracks were coming. Consequence reports she may debut one of the new songs at the 2026 MTV VMAs.
