Trentemøller and Sune Rose Wagner reunite on new single “Your Love Walks Alone”

Danish producer Anders Trentemøller has released “Your Love Walks Alone”, the third single from his new album, featuring Sune Rose Wagner, singer and leader of The Raveonettes. The album is due on 13 November 2026 and, according to MusicBrainz, is self-titled, “trentemøller”.

According to Mondo Sonoro, the track blends electronics on the line between digital and analogue with layers of industrial-style distortion. The result is a heartbreak song with a gothic edge. Its subject is affection slowly fading and the hurt of being replaced. Wagner calls it a portrait of the purest love “slowly fading away”. Trentemøller points to the contrast between an accessible vocal melody and a dark, insistent backing.

The two previously worked together in 2013 on “Deceive”, from the album “Lost”. Trentemøller says they had long planned to team up again. When he wrote this instrumental, he knew it suited Wagner’s style, and Wagner sent the recorded vocal back in record time.

Born in 1972 in Vordingborg, Trentemøller emerged in Copenhagen in the early 2000s. His 2006 debut, “The Last Resort”, became a reference point for minimal techno and microhouse. His work has since ranged from club music to post-punk, shoegaze and film scores. His most recent studio album is “Dreamweaver”, released in September 2024.
