British band Uriah Heep play Bucharest on 3 November 2026 at Arenele Romane on their farewell tour “The Magician's Farewell”, according to iaBilet. Three days later, on 6 November, they play Arena 8888 Sofia, with Scotland's Heavy Pettin as special guests. Tickets for Sofia are sold through Eventim, priced from 35 to 85 euros, according to WeRock.
Ahead of the Bulgarian show, WeRock and Actualno published the two bands' backstage requirements. Uriah Heep ask for quality French white wines and Italian red wine, but rule out Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Blanc and Chenin Blanc. Sauvignon Blanc, by contrast, is on Heavy Pettin's list.
Uriah Heep also request whisky, vodka, gin and beer, and after the show the musicians are to be met with four large pizzas with different toppings and three salads, with the tour manager choosing the pizzas. Founder and guitarist Mick Box's menu leaves out dairy, wheat and red meat, favouring fish without sauce, vegetables and salads, while singer Bernie Shaw needs gluten-free alternatives. Heavy Pettin ask for beer, sandwiches, tomato soup, cheeses, sweets and fresh fruit.
Uriah Heep formed in London in 1969 and play hard rock and progressive rock. Their newest studio album is “Chaos & Colour” from 2023, according to MusicBrainz. Their last concert in Romania was on 24 August 2025 at Stadionul Dunărea in Galați. In October, mbuzz reported that Heavy Pettin would open the Sofia show.
