Eminem and Ez Mil release Naruto-inspired single “Madara”
Eminem released “Madara” on Friday, Oct. 9, a collaboration with Shady Records rapper Ez Mil. According to Billboard, the single is inspired by the anime series Naruto and also features Japanese rapper Hideyoshi and Neil Kaplan, the voice actor of Madara Uchiha.
An animated visualizer accompanies the track, with Eminem appearing in the anime world. Billboard notes that he uses a saturated vocal filter to recall his early Slim Shady style, a choice that drew mixed reactions from fans on social media. In the lyrics he compares himself to Kanye West when it comes to rants and says he stays ready for a battle on record at any time. He also looks back on the early days of his career, when he doubted that Dr. Dre believed in him. Dre discovered him in 1997 and signed him to Aftermath Entertainment in 1998.
“Madara” is due to appear on Ez Mil’s EP “3RD WRLD VOL. 2”, on which Eminem is a co-producer. Billboard reports that Eminem had not released a single in 2026. He also features on “7 Sins” on Kid Rock’s album “Halfway to Jesus”, due Oct. 17, which mbuzz reported on Oct. 2.
Eminem is an American rapper, record producer and actor, born in 1972 in St. Joseph. MusicBrainz lists “Music To Be Murdered By [Epilogue]”, from January 2026, as his newest studio album. Billboard recalls that “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)”, released in July 2024, topped the Billboard 200 with 281,000 album-equivalent units in its first week.
