Foo Fighters rumoured to be planning a 2027 stadium tour
Foo Fighters may be heading out on a stadium tour in 2027, according to Dutch outlet Festileaks, which pieced together several hints from social media. The band has confirmed nothing, and the rumours point mainly to stadium shows in the United Kingdom next summer.
The main lead comes from Gavin Davis, a music fan who posted about such a tour on Instagram. According to Festileaks, he previously revealed tours by Olivia Rodrigo and Hayley Williams before they were officially announced. On Reddit, users note that Dave Grohl has reportedly said in several interviews that he has big plans for 2027, and that at the band's Anfield show in Liverpool, just after Pinkpop 2026, he allegedly called the night “the cocktail party before the big dinner”. Download Festival also came up in an interview with Kerrang Radio; the band has never played it, and Grohl said “Maybe it's time”.
For now, Foo Fighters have just wrapped their American tour and start an Australian run in early November. It continues in 2027 in New Zealand, India and South America, with the final show set for Peru in early March.
Foo Fighters are an American rock band formed in Seattle in 1995. Their newest album, “Your Favorite Toy”, came out in April 2026. In October mbuzz reported that Dave Grohl and Pat Smear feature on a new version of The Pretty Reckless' “About You”, and that Grohl joined AC/DC at MetLife Stadium for “Highway to Hell”.
