John Bush brings his Anthrax-era songs to Budapest

Former Anthrax singer John Bush will play Dürer Kert in Budapest on 3 August 2027 with his “Celebrating the songs of Anthrax” tour, built around the band's 1993-2003 material. According to Rockinform, tickets for the Budapest show go on sale on 30 October.

The set draws on the albums “Sound of White Noise”, “Stomp 442”, “Volume 8: The Threat Is Real” and “We've Come For You All”. Alongside the better-known songs, the programme includes pieces that have not been played live for years, the Hungarian magazine writes.

Bush will be backed by the Category 7 musicians Phil Demmel, Mike Orlando and Jason Bittner, as well as his former Armored Saint bandmate Joey Vera. The European run follows a four-date tour of the United States that Rockinform describes as very well received. The next date close to Romania after Budapest is Vienna on 4 August 2027 at Szene Wien, according to the promoter Mind over Matter's list.

Bush first joined Anthrax in 1992 and stayed with the band until 2005, later returning to the microphone briefly between 2009 and 2010.
