Jeff Mills announces ‘Gamma Rays’ EP of four unreleased ’90s tracks

Jeff Mills has announced ‘Gamma Rays’, an EP of four previously unreleased tracks from the 1990s, due out on 30 October, according to We Rave You.

The Detroit DJ and producer shared the news on Instagram along with a short preview of the music, writing that four unreleased tracks from the ’90s were on the way. The track titles and the label have not been announced.

The 1990s were a defining decade for Mills. After co-founding Underground Resistance with Mike Banks, he started his own label, Axis Records, in 1992 and released records such as ‘The Bells’, which remains a techno staple.

Born in Detroit in 1963, Mills is an American DJ, record producer and composer working in techno and minimal techno. His newest studio album, according to MusicBrainz, is “The Trip To Vega”, released on 19 June 2026.
