German trio Klangphonics will play Akvárium Klub in Budapest on 10 March, on a tour for their new album “Zest” that brings their biggest shows so far, according to zene.hu. On their previous visit to the Hungarian capital they opened for Padre Guilherme.
“Zest” is out on 30 October, with its songs taking shape at the end of 2025. The record features long-time collaborators Anna Metko, BRØR and LUCIE, and explores new directions with the Grammy-nominated Bros. Landreth. According to zene.hu, the album pairs house- and techno-inspired production with careful songwriting, moving between euphoric and melancholic moods.
Klangphonics started in 2017 as a live band and work as a collaborative project built around the artistic vision of Maxl Walmsley-Pledl. On stage he plays as a trio with founding members Ben Kopfnagel and Markus Zunic. The live electronic act has been independent from the start, and its do-it-yourself approach to social media has earned it millions of followers across online platforms. The band has toured almost constantly for close to a decade. Their previous studio album, according to MusicBrainz, is “Perfect Opposure”, released on 4 October 2024.
