Kraftwerk announce two UK shows for summer 2027

Kraftwerk have announced two outdoor UK shows for June 2027: on 22 June at The Piece Hall in Halifax, as part of the Live at The Piece Hall series, and on 23 June at Cardiff Castle, as part of the DEPOT Live series, according to NME.

In Cardiff, the German group join a bill that so far includes Sonny Fodera, Ronan Keating, Blue, James Morrison, Jack Savoretti, and Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators. In Halifax, they are the latest addition to a 2027 line-up with Rick Astley, Kaiser Chiefs, Suki Waterhouse, Angine De Poitrine and Rudimental. DEPOT Live founder Nick Saunders called them “true pioneers of electronic music” and said he expects people to travel for the show.

Tickets go on sale on 23 October at 10am BST via Ticketmaster. Both dates fall just ahead of Glastonbury's 2027 edition, which returns to Worthy Farm from 23 to 27 June after a fallow year.

Kraftwerk come from Düsseldorf, Germany, and are known for electronic music, Krautrock and synth-pop. Their newest studio album, according to MusicBrainz, is “Tour de France Soundtracks”, released in August 2003. The band last played Romania on 22 July 2026, at Arenele Romane in Bucharest.
