The Cranberries announce 25th anniversary reissue of “Wake Up and Smell the Coffee”

The Cranberries will mark the 25th anniversary of their fifth studio album, “Wake Up and Smell the Coffee”, with a remastered deluxe edition out on 29 January 2027, according to uDiscover Music. The 2001 record returns in several physical formats and a digital deluxe edition. It features the singles “Analyse”, “Time Is Ticking Out” and “This Is The Day”.

Pre-orders opened on 22 October for a limited 3LP deluxe edition, a 2CD deluxe edition, a limited Skyburst Blue colour LP, a standard black LP and a 1CD edition. A limited liquid coffee-filled LP with a scratch-and-sniff coffee-scented sticker arrives the same day. The digital deluxe edition comes with “Such A Waste”, the first preview track.

The expanded editions hold the original 13-track album, remastered, plus new 2026 mixes by Stephen Street and further recordings. The 3LP set adds an LP of new mixes and an LP of bonus tracks: “Capetown”, “In The Ghetto”, “Many Days”, “Such A Waste” and “7 Years”, an Oceanic Long Version of “Analyse”, a Marius de Vries remix edit of “Time Is Ticking Out”, and live versions of “Shattered”, “Loud & Clear” and “In The Ghetto” recorded at Vicar Street. The 2CD and digital editions also carry the Stephen Street mixes and bonus recordings.

The Cranberries formed in Limerick, Ireland, in 1989, playing alternative rock, Celtic rock and dream pop. “Wake Up and Smell the Coffee” was their last album before a six-year hiatus. Their newest studio album is “In the End” from 2019, according to MusicBrainz.
